Easy baby friendly fish sticks

1 pound (0.45 kilograms) fish fillet, cut in thin strips
1 egg
1/3 cup oats (35 gr)
1/3 cup almond flour (or breadcrumbs if you are not gluten-free) (35 gr)
1/3 cup parmigiano reggiano, grated (35 gr)
Oil of your preference (coconut or avocado oil) for pan searing
Directions
- In a small bowl crack the egg and add a tbsp of water, beat and set aside
- In a blender, blend the oats, almond flour and parmigianno regiano and place in another small bowl
- Pat the fish pieces with paper towel to remove any excess water
- Grab one piece of fish at the time, deep it first at the egg and then at the breading mixture. Make sure that all sides are coated with breading.
- In a large pan over medium to low heat, heat up the oil (enough to just cover the bottom of the pan) and pan sear in all the sides
