Easy baby friendly pumpkin mac and cheese

2 cups pumpkin puree (450 gr)
1 cup milk of choice (225 gr)
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (120 gr)
1 pound (0.45 kilograms) macaroni pasta
ยฝ tsp cinnamon
shredded parmesan to taste
(Optional) 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Directions
- Boil the pasta in water according to the package instructions
- Drain and set the past aside
- In a pot, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, cheddar and cinnamon and stir
- Bring to a boil and then lower the heat and keep stirring until the cheese has melted
- Add the pasta and stir well
- Optional – if you want to finish it up in the oven
- You don’t need to do those extra steps but it adds texture. Place the mac and cheese in a sheet pan covered with parchment paper
- Topped with the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese and cook on grill for 5 min until golden
