Easy baby friendly pumpkin mac and cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pumpkin puree (450 gr)

  • 1 cup milk of choice (225 gr)

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (120 gr)

  • 1 pound (0.45 kilograms) macaroni pasta

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • shredded parmesan to taste

  • (Optional) 2 tbsp breadcrumbs


Directions

  • Boil the pasta in water according to the package instructions
  • Drain and set the past aside
  • In a pot, mix the pumpkin puree, milk, cheddar and cinnamon and stir
  • Bring to a boil and then lower the heat and keep stirring until the cheese has melted
  • Add the pasta and stir well
  • Optional – if you want to finish it up in the oven
  • You don’t need to do those extra steps but it adds texture. Place the mac and cheese in a sheet pan covered with parchment paper
  • Topped with the breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese and cook on grill for 5 min until golden
