An easy traditional Greek snack, fluffy pies stuffed with feta cheese filling, perfect for toddlers’ lunchbox


  • For the dough
  • 200 gr Greek yogurt

  • 200 gr olive oil

  • 350 gr all purpose flour

  • 150 gr whole wheat flour

  • For the filling
  • 250 gr feta cheese, crumbled

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp oregano


  • Preheat your oven at 370F (187.78 degrees Celsius) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a mixing bowl add all the ingredients for the dough and mix well with your hands or stand mixer until you form a ball and the ingredients are well incorporated
  • In a separate bowl add all the ingredients for the filling and mix well
  • Separate the dough in 25 equal parts and roll each one in a circular shape about 1/8 of an inch thick
  • Fill the dough with 1-2 tbsp of the filling and close up
  • Secure the ends with a fork and place in the baking sheet
  • Bake for 25 min or until golden
