Easy Greek orange and lemon chicken legs

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs (bone in and skin in)

  • ¼ cup olive oil

  • 1 orange, juice and zest

  • 1 lemon, juice and zest

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1 tsp dried oregano

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • Pepper to taste


Directions

  • Preheat you oven at 375F (190.56 degrees Celsius)
  • In a mixing bowl mix all the ingredients and massage the chicken legs
  • In a cast iron pan* add the chicken and pan sear in one side. When the chicken is ready turn and pan sear in the other side.
  • Transfer the cast iron pan in the oven and cook until cooked through. You might need to cover towards the end to make sure that you don’t burn the skin

Notes

  • * If you don’t have a pan that you is oven safe then you can use a regular non stick pan to pan sear the chicken and then transfer to a sheet pan to cook in the oven
